the two faced girl ….

Two faced girl is a version of the ‘topsy turvy’ doll. This doll typically had a head and arms at each end with a skirt in between and she was flipped over to reveal each doll. Instead of turning ‘two faced doll’ upside down, you just turn her from back to front to reveal each doll!

On one side the two faced girl wears a v-neckline cross over dress with a yellow button at the waist. On the other side the fabric is pleated into a higher neckline and gathered in at the waist with a belt and pearl buckle. She wears a black shoe in two different styles. She is still considering her jewellery and possibly a bag. In one photo two faced girl meets boy doll bob (posted 3 August).
