Sailor transfers

Found these wonderful transfers of a sailor performing his ‘chores’ 6 days a week…. he gets to rest on the Sabbath!

So here is what I did with one of the transfers. Thursday is obviously baking day and the sailor forms the centre of a cushion surrounded by small squares of mainly reproduction retro fabric and a wider boarder of green gingham. The back has an envelope opening made using the gingham and is lined with calico, as is the front panel. This cushion has a feather inner.
