‘pretty big’ pincushion

I made this pincushion using two favourite vintage fabrics. The floral fabric is a polished cotton and I just love the colour and pattern. I think the rest of it might just end up as a dress?

The blue spot made an appearance a few days ago as a pair of pants on an orange haired girl (‘Maybe just a little bloomsbury?’ posted 10 September).

The pincushion is rather large measuring 14cm square (I am going smaller) and has a needle holder on one side. The underside flap of the needle holder forms a pocket for any other necessary goodies.
