Bride number four
Bride number four makes an appearance in a soft ‘cobweb’ paper top and sash over a silver speckled paper skirt. This paper is softer than what I have used on two of the other brides and required a stiff underskirt of net to hold it out and make her stand.
Her hair is put together using silver glitter foiling ribbon (to match the silver in her wedding dress!) and her headpiece is made up of five ivory organza flowers with green leaves.
The cobweb paper is pleated into a fold at the back of her dress and fastened using two clear glass buttons with gold foil in them.
Originally she wore the same flowers as in her hair at her waist. This was later replaced by white cut out flowers (made using a wonderful wee machine I found in a paper craft shop) held together with silver stamens in the centre.
