A few more ‘bag’ photos

I was asked to provide more photos of the tote bags (‘bag lady’ posted 6 July 2011).

All these are bags are made with two handles attached on the outside of the bag. The handles are long enough to carry the bag on the shoulder.

I have also made these bags with one long strap, attached in the same way at each side seam. If you make the strap wide and long enough you can wear the bag diagonally across the body, which I find really comfortable.

Each bag is either lined or finished with french seams. The way the handles are attached (see striped fabric example) provides strength so they aren’t going to come apart in a hurry and looks good as well.
