‘one off’ cushions

I made these cushions a while ago using some of the precious fabric booty.

They are pretty plain as I let the fabric speak for itself, and sometimes less is more when it comes to great fabric! The photos show the cushion covers before I made their feather inners. I have several pieces of retro barkcloth and utilising all of the fabric available from this piece, I decided on two medium sized cushions.

On the back of the cushions I have used a luscious velvet type fabric, which I have lined and sewn into a simple envelope opening. The other cushion is made from a sample piece of  ‘Osborne and Little’ (will post the name once I remember it!).
